I like the Sabily 9.04 but I dont need some of the features because I cant understand Arabic and I dont need some of the components.
Is it possible to install parts of the Sabily like:
grubmedine,
sabily-usplash,
sabily-gdm-login,
gdm-splash,
sabily-wallpaper,
Sabily-theme,
Minbar

assalamu alaykum,

You can install ubuntu 9.04 then install some of the sabily packages.
Just execute this command on ubuntu:

Code:
sudo wget http://www.sabily.org/sources.list.d/`lsb_release -cs`.list --output-document=/etc/apt/sources.list.d/sabily.list; sudo apt-get -q update; sudo apt-get --yes -q --allow-unauthenticated install sabily-keyring; sudo apt-get -q update

then you can choose which package to install; they are all here: sabily team ppa

You can download the CD with Sabily packages: http://tinyurl.com/danjwu.
Burn the ISO on a CD then you can use it to install packages without an internet connection.

wa salam
