as-salaamu alaykum all,  
 
I was just playing around in gimp, and decided to try and 'islamify' the ubuntu logo, and this is what i came up with. I'm not overly artistic, so it's just a mockup to get the idea:

It's nice, but it may be more beautiful with moon crescents
